Starting from January 2022, all students and staff members entering CCBG spaces will need to have received a Base Student Pass (for students) or a Base Staff Pass (for staff members) from CCBG.

The CCBG Base Pass is issued when an individual’s vaccination details have been verified by CCBG.

WHY?

NYC mandates businesses that operate indoor activities (like CCBG) to require and verify Covid-19 vaccination proof of all individuals, including staff and those using that business. Adults and children 12 years old and up will need to be fully vaccinated, children 5 to 11 years old to have a minimum of at least 1 dose before January 29th, 2022 and complete the second dose within 45 days (by March 15th, 2022).

The CCBG Base Pass system will stand as long as the NYC law requires it. Throughout this time, all individuals will need to obtain a Base Pass and a Weekly Pass (issued via email) to participate in on-site activities. You can read the complete NYC mandates here.

HOW TO OBTAIN A BASE PASS?

Step 1: Have ready your NYS Excelsior Pass Plus or Excelsior Pass.

What’s the difference?

Excelsior Pass Plus —Has the complete validity of your detailed CDC Vaccination Card with no expiration date.

Excelsior Pass (Standard) —Has only partial validity of your detailed CDC Vaccination Card with an expiration date of early Spring 2022.

Step 2: Pick Option A or Option B below and submit via the button:

(A) Screenshot or PDF of your Excelsior Pass Plus with the QR Code AND the “Vaccination Details” page of your pass.

(B) Screenshot or PDF of your Excelsior Pass with the QR Code AND a photo image of your CDC Vaccination Card (the paper one) showing vaccine lot numbers, dates, clinic site.

Step 3: Once your proof of vaccination has been submitted and verified, CCBG will issue you a Base Pass for onsite activities. The validity of any issued Base Pass will be closely monitored as the laws and individual vaccination status evolve.
